What are the advantages of a hidden lock?

Its big advantage is that it cannot be seen: it is fitted on the inner face of the door and leaves no cylinder or escutcheon on the outside. What is not in sight cannot be broken or tampered with.

It also throws people off. Whoever manages to open the main lock finds the door still will not move and does not know why. And it adds one more locking point, which spreads the force if someone tries to lever the door.

As there is no access from outside, a mechanical hidden lock can only be locked from inside. It is ideal for locking up at night or on doors you do not use to go out, such as the patio door or the terrace door on a ground floor.

The versions that open with a remote or a mobile phone are electronic and we do not work on them. It is all in hidden locks.
