Doors

This family covers everything to do with the door itself: the leaf, the frame, the hinges and the fittings. Many problems that look like lock problems are really door problems. If the leaf has dropped, the latch does not go properly into the strike plate, you have to push to close it and the lock suffers a little more every day.

Doors that rub or will not close

Over time doors drop, hinges work loose and the wood moves over the years. It happens a lot on the coast: the damp from the sea and the changes between winter and summer make doors that used to close well start to rub on the floor or the frame. It can almost always be fixed without changing the door. We explain it in door repair and adjustment.

Security doors

If your front door is ordinary wood and you want a leap forward in security, a security door is the option. We explain the differences between the types available, what to measure and what to look at in the frame and the lock before you decide. If you already have a security door and it is giving you trouble, we also check and adjust it. We do not sell armoured doors.

Door closers

In communal entrances, shops and offices, a door that stays open or slams shut is a problem for security and for getting on with the neighbours. A door closer makes the door swing back on its own and close without banging. We fit it and leave it properly adjusted; it is all in door closer installation.

Handles and knobs

Handles wear out too: they work loose, droop or stop drawing back the latch. We replace handles and knobs on front doors and interior doors, and help you choose one that goes with your lock.

What we do not do

We do not install or repair garage doors. If you cannot open a garage or a storeroom, that we do: it is all in garage and storeroom opening.

How to ask for it

Send us on WhatsApp a photo of the whole door, another of the edge where the lock is and, if it rubs, another of the spot where it rubs. We give you a fixed quote before we come and you pay when we finish by card, Bizum or cash.
