A shop depends on opening on time and staying properly locked at night. The roller shutter door, the large slatted or mesh shutter that protects the shop window, works every day and takes knocks, sun and, on the coast, plenty of salty sea air. This family covers the work we do for shops and premises: the shutter, its locks and the grilles.
When the shutter fails
Usually the shutter starts giving warnings: it is noisy, it comes down crooked, it catches halfway or it is very hard to raise. If you keep forcing it, it ends up jammed. We check the guide rails, the slats and the axle, adjust whatever has moved and replace whatever is broken. It is all in roller shutter door repair.
If the shutter is stuck and you cannot open or close the business, see what to do in stuck shop shutter. We answer 24 hours a day, every day.
Shutter locks
The locks on roller shutter doors sit at ground level or in the middle of the shutter, exposed to rain, sand and salt. They rust, the key goes in stiffly and one day it will not turn. They are also a point that is attacked to get into the premises. We replace the lock with an identical one or a more secure one depending on the shutter. See the options in roller shutter door locks.
Security grilles
For the windows of shops, offices and ground-floor homes, grilles are still a simple form of protection that can be seen from outside. We fit security grilles: with a photo of the window we tell you what suits that opening.
What we do not do
We do not motorise shutters or repair their motors. We work on the mechanical side: guide rails, slats, axles, locks and grilles.
How to ask for it
Send us on WhatsApp a photo of the whole shutter, another of the lock and, if it catches, a short video of it going up or down. With that we give you a fixed quote before we come. You pay by card, Bizum or cash.
