For us the job does not end when we get paid. If after a job something does not work as it should, you message us and we take a look. We stand behind what we do and the parts we fit.
What it covers
The guarantee covers two things. On the one hand, the work: that the lock, the cylinder, the escutcheon or the shutter is properly fitted and works the way it should. On the other, the parts we fit: cylinders, locks, deadbolts, escutcheons, hinges and the other components we install.
The exact scope depends on each job and each part, and it is stated with the quote. That way you know what is covered before you say yes, not afterwards.
What is worth asking
If you have any doubt about what is and is not included in a particular job, ask when you request the quote. We explain it calmly, with no small print, so it is clear from the start.
How to make a claim
Message us on WhatsApp telling us what is happening and, if you can, with a photo or a short video. Have the quote or the receipt for the job to hand. We check it and, if it is covered by the guarantee, we sort it out.
Tips to make it last
- On the coast, salty sea air is the worst enemy of lock cylinders. A little lubricant made specifically for locks every now and then helps a great deal. Do not use cooking oil or thick grease, which trap dust and sand.
- If the key starts to get stiff, do not force it: let us know before it snaps.
- In homes that stay closed for months, it is a good idea to lock and unlock the lock every now and then.
