Locksmith in San Fulgencio

San Fulgencio is a municipality in the Vega Baja with no coastline, although it is very close to the sea: it borders Guardamar del Segura and Elche, and on the other side Rojales, Daya Vieja and Dolores. It lies about 16 kilometres south of Elche and, from Torrevieja, about twenty kilometres depending on whether you are heading to the town or the urbanisation.

Two very different centres

The town of San Fulgencio is a farming village, surrounded by fields and with a village way of life. About five and a half kilometres from the centre is La Marina, a very large urbanisation that began to be built in the late 1980s and brings together several areas, including La Marina, El Oasis, Monte Victoria and El Oral.

The municipality has around 9,800 inhabitants according to the INE. In 2022, around two out of every three were foreign nationals, with British the largest group, followed by German. In La Marina you hear English every day. If you find it easier, write to us on WhatsApp in your own language.

What homes there are in La Marina

La Marina is mainly urbanisation housing: villas with a plot, townhouses and bungalows, many of them single-storey, with a garden, outside railings and terrace doors. There are residents who live here all year round and others who spend periods here and go back to their home country for weeks or months.

This shapes what we are asked for:

What homes there are in the town

In the town of San Fulgencio, traditional village houses and flats predominate, lived in by long-standing local residents. There, wear and tear is the usual story: lock cylinders that no longer turn smoothly, locks decades old and wooden doors that have given way over time. There are also shops and premises with metal shutters.

Most requested services in San Fulgencio

Lock cylinder replacement

When you buy in La Marina, the first job should be to change the lock cylinder in San Fulgencio. If you have several doors, we can fit matching cylinders that open with a single key, so you no longer have to carry a whole bunch.

Shutter reinforcement

For single-storey villas and bungalows that spend time shut up, shutter reinforcement in San Fulgencio is what gives the most peace of mind. We reinforce shutters so they cannot be lifted or bent, with a steel T-profile under the bottom slat and bolts at both ends that lock into the wall. With a photo on WhatsApp we can tell whether yours can be reinforced.

Door opening

You are locked out with the keys inside, the key snaps in the lock or the door will not open after weeks without use. We open without causing damage when the lock allows it. We explain it under door opening in San Fulgencio.

When something has happened to the empty house

If you come back to find the lock forced, the first thing to do is call the Guardia Civil or the police and not touch anything. Afterwards we change the lock cylinder or the lock so you can lock up that same night and, if you need it for the insurance, we write you a forced lock report.

How we work

A fixed quote before we start; the quickest way is to send a photo on WhatsApp. If the job turns out to be different when we arrive, we tell you and do not carry on without your agreement. You can pay by card, Bizum or cash. Before opening a door, we check that the person asking has the right to enter, in the town and on the urbanisation.

T-profile shutter security

We reinforce roller shutters so they cannot be lifted or bent.
