A master keyed cylinder, “cilindro amaestrado” in Spanish, is a cylinder that opens with its own key and also with a master key that opens other cylinders in the same system. Each user has their own key, which only opens their door, and the person in charge carries one that opens all of them or a group.

This is achieved by combining pins of different sizes inside the chambers, so that two different combinations clear the shear line.

Where it is used:

The system is designed to measure, with a key plan, and the keys should be protected so that nobody can have copies made without control. If you are interested for your community or your business, take a look at our master key systems.
