A pull handle is a fixed part that you grip to pull or push the door, without working any mechanism. Unlike a lever handle, it does not move the latch: it is only for moving the leaf.
It is widely used on the outside of front doors, on shop doors and communal entrances, on sliding doors and on wardrobes. It can be a straight bar, a D handle, a fixed knob or a part recessed into the leaf.
When choosing one, what counts is the distance between the screws, whether it is fixed with a through bolt or on one face only, and the material. On communal entrances and shops a lot of people grip it every day, so you want it firmly fixed and with a finish that resists the salt air. We cover it in handles and knobs.
