We give you the total amount you will pay, so there is no doubt. On the invoice the VAT, known in Spain as IVA, is shown separately, as it should be.
It is a question that is always worth asking. A price without VAT looks lower, but it goes up when you pay, and that breeds mistrust even if nobody meant to mislead.
When comparing quotes from different professionals, look at:
- Whether the amount is with or without VAT.
- Whether it includes materials, labour and the call-out.
- Whether it is fixed or an estimate that may change.
If you are a company or self-employed and need the breakdown for your accounts, tell us when you ask for the quote and we will give it to you that way. Ask for yours in quote.
