Car key

A car key is the one that opens the doors of a vehicle and starts it. Modern ones nearly always combine a metal blade, a chip that the car has to recognise before it will start, and a remote control for locking and unlocking.

Many are flip keys, with the metal blade tucked away inside the casing, and some do not even go into the ignition: you just need to have them on you.

We will be straight with you: we do not work on vehicles. No car openings, no car keys and no car remotes. For that you need a vehicle specialist or the dealer.
