A police-attended job is locksmith work carried out with police officers present, because they are the ones who have requested it or because what has happened may be a crime.
It happens, for example, after a burglary, when the police need to enter a property or when a forced door has to be secured once the officers have finished their work. In these cases the locksmith acts only when the officers say so, and not before.
There is something worth knowing if you find squatters inside your home: do not try to go in or force anything yourself. Call the police and consult a lawyer. We do not open a home with people inside; if the police are involved and require a locksmith, we can attend. More information on our protection against squatters page.
