Door automation

Door automation is the set of parts that makes a door or a roller shutter open and close without moving it by hand. It is used on garage doors, sliding gates, sectional doors and shop roller shutters.

The motor provides the power and the control board receives the commands and runs it. The commands come from the remote controls or the push buttons, the photocells detect whether anyone is in the way and the limit switches indicate where to stop. Almost all systems also have a manual release for power cuts.
