Locksmith in Daya Vieja

Daya Vieja is a tiny municipality in the Vega Baja: less than three square kilometres in area and, according to the INE, around 700 inhabitants. It lies on the left bank of the Segura, only just above sea level, and borders Daya Nueva, Dolores, Formentera del Segura and San Fulgencio. From Torrevieja it is about twenty kilometres by car.

A small village with neighbours from many countries

Daya Vieja lives from irrigated farming, with water from its irrigation channel: artichokes, potatoes, maize and other market garden crops. But what stands out most is its population. In 2022, according to the INE, more than six out of every ten residents were foreign nationals, and it appears among the municipalities in the province where foreigners are the majority.

In such a small village there are no large buildings or complexes with a porter:

Door opening

Country doors and storehouses

The sheet metal doors and wooden gates of country houses suffer from the damp of the farmland. They rust, seize up or lose their fit. We change locks on metal doors, fit security bolts and adjust gates so they close properly again.

Before you go away for a few weeks
