KESO is a brand of Swiss origin specialising in high-security cylinders. It is a high-end cylinder fitted on doors where you want to make opening very difficult, and also in master key systems for buildings.
What we usually do with KESO
- Replace the cylinder when the keys are lost or after a break-in attempt. A cylinder that has been attacked may still open but be damaged.
- Check how it is fitted. A cylinder of this level only performs if it is fitted properly: flush with the escutcheon, with the cam correctly positioned and with a protective escutcheon covering it.
- Bring it into a master key system. In communities and businesses, master keying gives each person their own key and a master key for the communal areas. If you already have a system, we study it before changing anything.
If you are looking for a cylinder of this level
Not every door needs one. For an ordinary flat, a good anti-snap cylinder and an escutcheon are usually enough. A high-security cylinder makes sense in homes that stand empty for long periods, in premises with valuable stock or on doors that have already had attempts made on them. We compare it with other options in our range of security cylinders, and you choose.
The keys
Many high-security cylinders only allow new keys to be ordered on presentation of proof of ownership. Keep the card that comes with your cylinder somewhere safe. We do not cut copies of keys.
How we arrange it
Send us a photo on WhatsApp of the cylinder from the outside and of the edge of the door. If you want to check the size, there is the lock cylinder size calculator. We give you a fixed quote before we start, and you pay by card, Bizum or cash.
