FICHET locks in Torrevieja

FICHET is a French brand with a long history in high-level security. It is known for its armoured doors and high-security locks, designed to resist far more than an ordinary door. When one of these doors jams, opening it takes method and patience.

What we usually do with FICHET

• Open the door. If the key has been lost or broken, or the lock does not respond, we carry out armoured door opening. With this type of door the lock is studied first and we choose the technique that does the least damage.
• Inspect the lock. A high-security lock that is starting to fail usually gives warning: the key is stiff on a particular turn, the bolts rub or you have to push the door to lock it. We look at it and tell you what is wrong.
• Repair the lock or replace the cylinder. When the model allows it, we carry out a lock repair or replace the cylinder. On some locks of this level the parts are specific, and we will tell you so clearly before we start.

What we do not do

We do not sell armoured doors and we do not work on safes. We look after the lock and the opening of the door you already have.

Before it jams

On a heavy door, the most common problem is not the lock but the weight of the leaf. Over the years it drops slightly, the bolts begin to rub on the frame and the lock works under strain. If you notice it getting stiff, let us know before it fails completely. A timely door repair and adjustment saves you an emergency opening.
