YALE lock cylinders and locks in Torrevieja

YALE is one of the oldest names in locksmithing. It bears the surname of Linus Yale, the American inventor associated with the pin tumbler cylinder that almost every door uses today. The brand makes cylinders, locks, padlocks and other security products, and it is well known in many countries.

What we usually do with YALE

• Replace the cylinder after lost keys, a theft or because you have just moved into a property. The lock cylinder replacement is done without touching the lock.
• Upgrade the cylinder. If yours is basic, we suggest one of our security cylinders, from the same brand or another depending on your door.
• Repair or replace the lock when the mechanism fails, with a compatible one that uses the existing recess.
• Open the door if you are locked out, always checking first that you have the right to enter.

If you have moved here from abroad

Many people who settle in Torrevieja know YALE from their own country, sometimes from locks that are hardly used here. Spanish doors usually have a mortice lock with a European cylinder, and that changes which replacement part will fit.
