The Torre del Moro area is in the north of Torrevieja, about three or four kilometres from the centre, around the old Cabo Cervera watchtower. The tower has been restored and stands in a park with a viewpoint over the sea, and it is the best landmark for finding the district. Below are the cove and the beach of the headland.
What homes there are in Torre del Moro
It is a residential area of low-rise houses: two-storey semi-detached houses, villas with plots, townhouses and small complexes with pools. There are no tall buildings. In the Town Hall’s planning records it appears in several enclaves and planning agreements, which gives an idea that it has been built in stages over the years.
Year-round residents live alongside holiday homes and some rented properties.
The jobs we are asked for most
Semis and villas with lots of doors
A typical semi has a street gate, a main door, a terrace door, a way out to the patio and sometimes a store or garage. If each one has its own key, it is easy to lose one or not know which is which. With a master key system or keyed-alike cylinders you can open several doors with a single key and give each person only the ones they need.
Terrace doors that no longer close
The sun and the sea air punish aluminium and uPVC doors facing the coast. If yours does not line up or the handle spins freely, it can usually be fixed. And if you are locked out with it shut, we carry out aluminium and uPVC door opening.
Ground-floor shutters
In single or two-storey houses, the downstairs windows are the weak point. Shutter reinforcement means they cannot be lifted or bent: a steel T-profile under the bottom slat and bolts at each end that lock into the wall.
