Locksmith in Rocío del Mar (Torrevieja)

Rocío del Mar is at the southern end of Torrevieja, about four kilometres from the centre, beside Punta Prima. In the municipal plan the two follow on from each other: Rocío del Mar is development plan 1A and Punta Prima is 1B. It is the part of the municipality where Torrevieja’s coastline meets that of Orihuela Costa.

Coastal complexes

The most common home is an apartment in a complex with a communal pool and landscaped gardens, close to Punta Prima beach and the rocky coves along this stretch of coast. It is an area with lots of second homes and holiday lets, and with owners from many different countries. Many of them do not live here and leave the home in the hands of an agency or a neighbour while they are away.

Homes that are only opened up for the holidays

An apartment that sits closed for months has two problems: the lock seizes up from lack of use and the salt does the rest. You arrive at Easter or in summer and the key will not go in or will not turn. The best thing is to have it checked before you leave. We explain how under second homes.

A new cylinder when the flat changes hands

In complexes with so much turnover of owners and tenants, you do not know who still has a key. Changing the cylinder when you buy or when you change letting manager is the first thing we recommend. See lock cylinder replacement in Torrevieja.

Lockouts in summer

The door slammed shut on the way down to the pool or the beach is the most frequent call-out in the season. We open without damage when the lock allows it and, before that, we check that the person asking has the right to get in. There is more under door opening in Torrevieja.
