БългарскиTorrevieja’s Centro is the town’s historic core: a grid of streets that starts at the harbour and the Paseo de la Libertad and stretches inland. It is the most compact part of the town, the part you get around on foot, with the market, the squares, the church and most of the shops and offices.
Flats, shops and few low-rise houses
People here mostly live in flats. There are buildings from the seventies and eighties, newer blocks and the odd renovated old house from when Torrevieja was a salt-making village. The ground floors are usually shop premises, with a roller shutter or a metal security shutter. It is a district with lots of year-round residents, more than on the urbanisations, although there are also flats to rent.

Your flat door
In a building with a shared entrance, your own front door is what protects you. We see lots of security doors with locks that are twenty or thirty years old and cylinders that can be opened with well-known techniques. Changing the cylinder for a high-security one or fitting a security escutcheon makes the door much better without replacing it. And if you are locked out, we carry out security door opening without damage when the lock allows it.
Shops and metal shutters
Many businesses in the Centro have a metal shutter or a roller shutter. The padlock that will not open in the morning, the broken shutter lock or the lost key to the premises are frequent call-outs. You will find it under opening shops and business premises.
Entrance halls and communal areas
The locks on the main entrance, the meter room or the basement storerooms belong to all the residents and are used every day. When they fail, the whole community has a problem. We work with community presidents and property administrators.

Send us a photo on WhatsApp and we will give you a fixed quote before we start. If the job turns out to be different when we arrive, we let you know and we do not carry on unless you agree. Before opening a door we check that the person asking has the right to get in. Payment by card, Bizum or cash. And if you have just moved in, the first thing we advise is changing the lock cylinder.
