El Molino is a residential district of Torrevieja close to the old town, in the northern part of the town. On property portals it appears as an area in its own right, with both resale and new-build properties on offer, and several complexes in the area also go by the name El Molino.

What homes there are in El Molino

Mostly flats: buildings of several storeys with a communal pool, penthouses with a terrace and solarium, ground-floor homes with a patio and the odd townhouse. Blocks that are a few years old stand alongside recent developments with a rooftop pool, garage and storeroom. Some residents live here all year round and some flats are used as second homes.

A new cylinder when you get a new-build flat

When you are handed the keys to a new flat, those keys have already been through the builder, the trades who finished the work and the sales agent who showed the property. Penthouses and ground floors

These are the two most exposed homes in a building. In the penthouse, the door to the terrace or solarium; on the ground floor, the windows and the way out to the patio. For the ground floor, shutter reinforcement means the shutter cannot be lifted or bent: a steel T-profile under the bottom slat and bolts that lock into the wall.

A door that does not close properly

In new buildings it is normal for a door to start rubbing, or for the latch not to go all the way in, as the building settles. It is not serious, but it is worth adjusting before the lock suffers. We carry out door repair and adjustment.
