Locksmith in Parque de las Naciones (Torrevieja)

The Parque de las Naciones district is less than a kilometre from the centre, to the north-west, around one of Torrevieja’s largest town parks. It is easy to recognise by the large central pond shaped like a map of Europe, the play areas and the paths. It is set back a little from the sea, and the Laguna Rosa can be seen from some of the complexes.

A district for living in all year round

Medium-rise blocks of flats and complexes with a communal pool are the norm here, with the odd townhouse. It is one of the most family-oriented areas of the town, with schools and sports facilities nearby. There is less tourist letting than on the frontline and more everyday residents.

It is one of the most typical call-outs in homes with youngsters. The bathroom bolt locks, the bedroom lock jams or the handle comes off on the inside. Your flat’s front door

Many doors in the district’s buildings still have the original cylinder. If a key has been lost or someone you no longer have contact with has taken a set, the sensible thing is changing the lock cylinder. It is a quick job and the lock does not need touching.

Keys that snap inside

With daily use, a worn key ends up snapping in the cylinder. Do not try to get it out with a piece of wire: you push the broken piece further in. We extract it with specialist tools.
