Locksmith in Doña Inés (Torrevieja)

Doña Inés is an urbanisation of townhouses in the El Salado area, north of Torrevieja’s old town. We work in its homes and the ones around it.

Doña Inés is on the outskirts of Torrevieja’s old town, to the north, about two kilometres from the centre, within the area that property portals call El Salado. It has supermarkets, the Habaneras shopping centre and leisure areas nearby, and the beach is a short drive away. It is a settled urbanisation, one of those known by name all over town.

Two-storey townhouses

The most common home in Doña Inés is the two-storey townhouse, often with two bedrooms, a front or back patio and a communal pool. There are also some semi-detached houses. People who live here all year round share the area with holiday homes, and some properties are let to tourists.

What we are asked for in Doña Inés

Changing the cylinder when you buy

When you buy a second-hand townhouse, you get the keys the seller hands you, but you do not know how many more there are: children, previous tenants, the estate agent, whoever watered the plants. The first thing we recommend is changing the lock cylinder. If you have several doors, we can set them all to the same key.

Patio and terrace doors

On a townhouse, the back patio door and the upstairs terrace door are usually aluminium or uPVC. They are the ones most often forgotten and the ones that protect least. If they do not close properly, they can be adjusted or the lock can be changed. You will find it under locks for aluminium and uPVC.

Weekly lets

If you let your home, keep control of the keys yourself. Changing the cylinder when you change management company or after a season with lots of guests is a healthy habit, and there is no need to replace the whole lock. We explain it under holiday lets.
