San Roque is on the south-western side of Torrevieja’s old town, less than two kilometres from the centre, next to Los Náufragos beach. The rocky stretch that closes off the beach to the south already belongs to San Roque. It has its own planning agreement in the Town Hall’s records and, being so close, it is often confused with El Acequión and Los Náufragos, with which it forms one continuous stretch of neighbourhood.
Low-rise but dense building
San Roque is an area of low buildings packed closely together: flats in blocks of just a few storeys, terraced duplexes and the odd ground-floor home with a patio. It is a step from the beach and the old town, with year-round residents and homes for letting and holidays.
What we are asked for in San Roque
Duplexes and ground floors
In a terraced duplex or a ground-floor flat, the downstairs windows open straight onto the street. We reinforce shutters so they cannot be lifted or bent, with a steel T-profile under the bottom slat and bolts at each end that lock into the wall. You will find it under shutter reinforcement for ground floors and bungalows.
Cylinders near the sea
Two streets from the beach, salt ends up getting into the cylinders on outside doors. If the key scrapes or is hard to turn, it is worth changing the cylinder before it fails. See lock cylinder replacement in Torrevieja.
Lockouts in the high season
In summer, with the beach next door, the same scene repeats itself: a door slammed shut and the keys inside. If it happens to you, read keys locked inside. We open without damage when the lock allows it.
Change of tenant
In rented flats, every new tenancy is a good moment to change the cylinder. That way nobody from the previous tenancy still has a key.
How we work
We are local and we know the district. A fixed quote before we start, a heads-up if the job changes and payment by card, Bizum or cash.
