Locksmith in Playa de los Locos (Torrevieja)

Playa de los Locos is a sandy town beach of about seven hundred metres, with a Blue Flag, located north of Torrevieja’s old town after Punta Carral. The whole district around it goes by the same name, less than two kilometres from the centre and right next to Playa del Cura.

Apartment buildings a step from the water

The district is made up mainly of apartment blocks, many with a communal pool, a lift and parking spaces. There are studios and small flats designed for holidays and also larger homes for people who live here all year round.

What really sets Los Locos apart is letting. In summer it fills with tourists who rent by the week, and out of season many flats are let from September to May to people who spend the winter here. That makes two cycles of tenants a year at the same door.

So close to the shoreline, the cylinders on outside doors and the catches on balconies wear out sooner. If the key is stiff, do not force it: with lock maintenance or a timely change you avoid being locked out.
