Torreta Florida lies north-west of Torrevieja town centre, just over a kilometre away, on the shore of the Laguna Rosa. It is one of the villa urbanisations closest to the old town: you have the town right beside you and, at the same time, a low-density, quiet area with the lagoon in view. It has its own local shopping centre and borders La Torreta.
Villas with plots
The typical home in Torreta Florida is a villa with a plot, often with a private pool, a gate onto the street and a garage or car port. There are also semi-detached houses and the odd townhouse. People live here all year round: couples, families and people looking for peace and quiet without moving away from services.
What we are asked for in Torreta Florida
Gates and garages
On a villa, the first door is not the front door but the gate. Gate locks are out in the weather and rust, the latch stops going in and sometimes the key gets stuck. If you lose the garage key or the lock will not open, we carry out garage and storeroom opening. We open garages, but we do not install or repair garage doors or motors.
Front door locks
On detached houses that are sometimes left empty, a good lock on the entrance is worth having. If yours is basic or worn, a lock change to one with several locking points greatly strengthens the door.
Ground-floor shutters
Single-storey villas have every window at garden level. Shutter reinforcement means they cannot be lifted or bent, with a steel T-profile under the bottom slat and bolts that lock into the wall. Send us a photo and we will tell you whether your shutter can be reinforced.
