Locksmith in Lago Sol (Torrevieja)

Lago Sol is in the south of the Torrevieja municipality, about four or five kilometres from the centre, within the Los Balcones area and close to Lago Jardín. It has its own sector in the municipal plan. Listings describe it as an established, quiet urbanisation, and the lagoon can be seen from some of its complexes.

Apartments and bungalows with pools

Judging by what is advertised, Lago Sol is mostly resale apartments and bungalows in complexes with a communal pool and gardens, plus the odd house with its own pool. Beyond that we do not have reliable information about who lives here, although around Los Balcones year-round residents live alongside holiday homes.

What we are asked for in Lago Sol

A new cylinder when you buy

If you buy a resale flat or bungalow, you do not know how many copies of the key there are or who has them. Changing the cylinder is quick and there is no need to touch the lock. You will find it under lock cylinder replacement in Torrevieja.

Terraces and balconies

Aluminium and uPVC terrace doors facing the sun are the ones that fail most over the years: the catch does not line up or the handle works loose. We fix them by changing the lock for aluminium and uPVC. And if they shut with you outside, we open them.

Ground-floor shutters

On bungalows and ground-floor flats, we reinforce shutters so they cannot be lifted or bent, with a steel T-profile under the bottom slat and bolts at each end that lock into the wall. If the home is left empty for long spells, have a look at shutter reinforcement.

Locks that will not turn after months away

When you come back after a long spell away, the lock may have seized up. Do not force the key: ask us to check it.
