Torreblanca is one of the urbanisations in the north of the municipality, between Torrevieja’s old town and La Mata, about four kilometres from the centre. From many of its streets you can walk to La Mata beach. In the municipal plan it has its own development plan, and today it is a finished, established area.
Complexes with a pool and a gate
What you will see most in Torreblanca are apartments on gated complexes: low or medium-rise blocks around a communal pool, with gardens, an entrance gate shared by all the residents and sometimes a garage or storerooms. There are also bungalows and the odd recent new-build development.
Many of those flats are second homes or let for the season to people who come for the beach. That makes quite a difference to the kind of work we are asked to do.
Jobs we do in Torreblanca
A new cylinder when you buy or change tenants
In an apartment that has had several owners or lots of tenants, nobody knows how many copies of the key are floating around. Changing the cylinder is the simplest way to start from scratch. You will find the details under lock cylinder replacement in Torrevieja. If the flat is a holiday let, many owners do it between one season and the next.
Community doors and gates
The entrance gate, the pedestrian door to the garage or the one to the storerooms are used every day and take a beating. When a communal lock fails, half the complex cannot get in or cannot lock up. We work with communities and administrators: you will find it under owners’ communities.
Lockouts in summer
A small apartment, lots of people going in and out to the beach and a door that shuts by itself. It is the most frequent call-out in the season. We open without damage when we can and, before doing so, we check that the person asking has the right to get in.
A tip for owners who do not live here
If you let the flat, keep control of the keys yourself and do not leave copies in letterboxes or plant pots. If you are ever unsure who has a key, change the cylinder: it is a quick job and we give you a fixed quote before we start, ideally from a photo on WhatsApp.
